Maybe you could set the bardcode field as an "optional"?

Most of my decks have no barcode (on the deck), so in this case the database will be "not completed" for this deck forever, cause there is no code (my opinion).

Maybe it is also an idea to delete the barcode property completely, cause I don't know who need it or look about a bar code on a deck.
